Job Description
As the Senior Financial Analyst supporting Customer & Loyalty at Nordstrom, you will influence the strategy, execution, and optimization of our loyalty business and total customer health. You’ll lead forecasting, planning, and you’ll provide insights and make recommendations to your stakeholders and business leaders. If you’re a proactive, creative problem solver, have excellent attention to detail, and are committed to building and refining existing processes, you’ll love this opportunity to work with business partners across various teams to solve complex business problems in a fast-paced environment.
NOTE: This position is offered as a hybrid role in the Seattle, WA area. You must be willing to work in office at the Nordstrom Seattle office a minimum of 3 days/week to be considered for this position.
A day in the life…
Collaborate and provide strategic insights with cross-functional business and finance partners to develop loyalty and customer plans, inclusive of loyalty program sales, investment, and key customer metrics (e.g., active and new customers, trips, spend, etc.)
Track and anticipate changes in business performance, proactively develop and recommend changes in strategy that best optimizes for financial and customer health outcomes
Support weekly and monthly business reviews that provide insight around current business performance and create alignment around forward looking forecast and plans that can be actioned against
Embrace and champion change with focus on implementing, editing, and improving processes within finance and the business
Develop, size, and track offers in partnership with business and analytics teams, define a clear set of objectives and key results to measure the performance of activated offers
Create materials that clearly and effectively communicate insights and recommendations through storytelling tools such as MS Excel, Power Point, and Tableau
You own this if you have…
3+ years of related experience
BA/BS Degree in Accounting or Finance
Proven experience in analysis, modeling, and reporting financial performance, with a strong sense of curiosity
Excellent computer skills including Excel and PowerPoint, experience with Hyperion-Essbase and Cognos (a plus)
Demonstrated ability to manage priorities and timelines with the ability to independently develop processes and deliverables from general direction
Clear and effective written and verbal communication skills, and attention to detail, data integrity and accuracy

Pay Range Details
The pay range(s) below are provided in compliance with state specific laws. Pay ranges may be different in other locations.
Washington: $80,000 - $132,000 This position may be eligible for performance-based incentives/bonuses. Benefits include 401k, medical/vision/dental/life/disability insurance options, PTO accruals, Holidays, and more. Eligibility requirements may apply based on location, job level, classification, and length of employment.
