The Senior Financial Analyst acts as the Finance business partner to a part of the US R&D Organization within Fresenius Kabi’s MedTech business unit and will provide financial support to specific business areas and product lines including reporting, analysis, budgeting and forecasting activities.- This position requires working on-site in North Andover 3 days per week, and remaining days may be worked remotely. This position cannot accommodate individuals who need current or future visa sponsorship.
Responsibilities
- Lead preparation of Annual Operating Budget, Long Range Plan, and quarterly Forecast processes for the Central Functions organization within the MedTech business unit.
- Prepare, analyze, report, and reconcile monthly, quarterly, and annual actual expense and Capital Expenditure results compared to budget, forecast and prior year for cost center.
- Responsible for R&D project tracking, as well as for providing analysis and recommendations to management on R&D related topics.
- Assist with forecast and budget presentations for management reviews.
- Participate in the development of improvements to existing reports and analyses.
- Assist with month-end close activities and reporting. This includes monitoring SAP transactions and presenting detail actual versus Budget/Forecast results at close meeting.
- Assist in reviewing costs and performing cost/benefit analyses related to propose projects/programs.
- Ad hoc and special projects within the finance team
- Oversees CPA preparation
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required
- 5+ years of accounting & financial analysis experience
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills (PivotTables, Macros)
- Knowledge of ERP systems; SAP and TM1 Cognos preferred
