Posted Salary Range: USD $155,000.00 - USD $170,000.00 /Yr.
GovCIO is currently hiring for a Senior Finance Manager to support our Health & Civilian Sector. This position will be located in Fairfax, VA and will be a fully remote position.
Responsibilities: - Lead team of FP&A Analysts providing guidance, training, and mentorship
- Produce timely and accurate financial reporting deliverables including business unit P&L, program trend analysis, variance analysis against budget and prior forecasts and monthly reporting for executive management
- Manage the sector/division quarterly forecast and annual operating budgeting activities
- Provide value-add analysis of key program drivers, risks, and opportunities
- Make recommendations for process improvement and identify areas needing corrective action to achieve financial goals
- Provide data and analysis to support sector/division operational reviews
- Manage the sector/division month end close process including cost accruals, revenue recognition and expense reviews
- Support internal and external audit activities
- Collaborate with Accounting, Contracts, Procurement and other corporate back-office departments to facilitate sector/division operations
Required Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor's with 12+ years (or commensurate experience)
- 12+ years in Finance role (Program Finance, Project Control and/or Financial Planning and Analysis) demonstrating career progression with increased responsibility and scope
- Government Contracting experience; Knowledgeable with principles of CAS, FAR and GAAP
- Experience developing financial planning and analysis cadence, culture, and standardization
- Advanced Excel user including pivot tables, complex formulas, and modeling
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to relay complex information concisely
- Must be a self-motivated, energetic, critical thinker that is able to work with diverse team
- Experience with multiple types of contracts including FFP, T&M and Cost Type
- Experience leading and managing a team of multiple direct reports
Preferred Skills and Experience:
- Experience with Deltek Costpoint accounting system
- Working knowledge of TM1 Forecasting software and Cognos Reporting
- Experience with data analytics and visualization
