Our firm is seeking an experienced senior attorney who is adept at handling a large caseload and familiar with all aspects of the trial process, particularly drafting pleadings, motions, notices, and working toward a resolution. Compensation:$120,000 base + bonuses
Responsibilities:- Attend court hearings on behalf of clients and argue motions
- Get appropriate documents prepared, such as motions, pleadings, notices, and discovery requests and responses
- Keep apprised of changes to local, state, and federal statutes and laws
- Perform research, draft briefs, pleadings, and motions
- Anticipate, prepare for, and attend trials, mediation, and arbitration on behalf of clients
- Must be able to handle heavy caseload with little supervision
- Applicants must have trial, mediation, and arbitration representation experience
- Five years of experience as a senior associate in the legal industry
- Member of state and local bar associations in good standing
- Bachelor’s degree with a law degree from an accredited law school (such as an LLM, JSD, or J.D. degree)
- At least 3 years of GEORGIA Family Law experience
