Family Law Paralegal

We're seeking a detail oriented well rounded Family Law Paralegal with general domestic relations law knowledge and experience to work in our Lawrenceville, Georgia office.

$50,000 - $65,000

• Draft Family Law documents including pleadings, motions, and proposed orders
• Draft parenting plans
• Calendar and schedule meetings, mediation, hearings, and trial
• Prepare trial binders
• Analyze evidence
• Attend court with attorneys
• Draft DRFAs, Child Support Worksheets and other documents
• needed for Family Law cases
• Draft client and court correspondence
• Draft Settlement Agreements and amend offers and counter offers based on client and attorney instructions
• Proofread firm work product for quality and accuracy
• E-file documents with the court
• Maintain knowledge of changing court rules and updates to case law and statutes
• Provide exemplary customer service and ensure customers are satisfied fans

• Must have knowledge of discovery, drafting, litigation
• Knowledge of Georgia cases and statutes
• Excellent writing skills
• Strong follow-up and follow-through skills
• Strong case management skills - able to take case from start to finish

Small Family Law firm. Onsite and occasional remote work is required. High-Speed internet connection at home and secure, private work area at home.
