Job description

Strategic Analysis, Inc (SA) is seeking a versatile, skilled Administrative Assistant to support the Advanced Research Projects Agency for Health (ARPA-H) activities. The ARPA-H mission is to accelerate better health outcomes for everyone by supporting the development of high-impact solutions to society's most challenging health problems.
The Administrative Assistant candidate should have experience in the areas below and working in fast paced environments and supporting senior leadership.
  • Serve as Senior Executive Assistant for the Office Director (OD) to support all aspects of his/her daily work routine.
  • Coordinate work with DARPA staff as needed; play a key role in the coordination of staff efforts both within and outside the office and Agency.
  • Track all actions/taskers to ensure they are addressed in a timely fashion (i.e.: responding to data calls, providing input to briefings, developing talking points and coordinating responses and input for upcoming meetings with internal and external stakeholders)
  • Track and follow-up on action items for the office and OD.
  • Take meeting minutes, create and edit program and administrative documents.
  • Assist in Front Office activities and processes including planning, prioritization, and execution.
  • Assist the OD in the development of presentations and white papers for internal and external audiences.
  • Determine priority of matters of attention for the OD; redirect matters to staff or handle individually, as appropriate.
  • Keep the OD advised of time-sensitive and priority issues, ensuring appropriate follow-up.
  • Routinely perform a wide variety of support duties.
  • Schedule office meetings; assist in the preparation and distribution of meeting agendas and materials.
  • Maintain paper and electronic filing systems.
  • Other additional and/or alternative duties as assigned.
NIH business system experience is desired but not required.

Qualification Requirements:
Education
  • High School diploma
Clearance
  • HHS, NIH Public Trust (Ability to obtain)


Experience

  • A minimum of 5 years working with senior leadership in a professional environment.
