This is remote position.
Evaluates, designs, tests, implements, upgrades, supports and maintains assigned applications.
- Analyzes and documents user requirements, procedures, and problems to automate or improve existing systems. Reviews system capabilities, workflow, and scheduling limitations.
- Documents workflows, configure and/or build activities, change management adherence, end user notifications, training information and status reporting in the appropriate system.
- Develops, documents and revises system design procedures, test procedures, and quality standards.
- Expands or modifies system to serve new purposes or improve work flow. Coordinates and links the application within an organization to increase compatibility for information sharing.
- Reviews and analyzes the system and performance indicators to locate problems, and correct errors. Escalates problems and issues to appropriate staff to ensure timely resolution.
- Manages small to medium application projects. Manages projects, schedules and facilitates meetings as necessary to complete assignments.
- Mentors Application Analysts to improve their skills and prepare them for more responsibility. Serves as a technical expert in the assigned applications for users, other team members, vendors and management. Serves as the subject matter expert in the assigned applications for system design and workflow modifications.
Minimum Qualifications
Required
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Epic Certification for the area in which you support (in primary application) is required within 9 months of date of hire or position transfer required.
- Obtaining additional Proficiency or Certification related to assigned modules may be required based on department's operational need and at manager discretion
- Three (3) years of experience in healthcare, technology or related field is required
Preferred
- Certified in any one of the following: Care Everywhere, EpicCare Link, Identity, HIM, Hospital Coding.
- 3M,Interoperability
- Previous work experience as a high level/super user preferred

- Proficient with MS Office software, including Word, Excel and Project.
- Regular attendance to perform work on site during regularly scheduled business hours or scheduled shifts is required
- Ability to work nights and/or weekends is required for identified positions
Physical Requirements:
- Interact with others by effectively communicating, both orally and in writing.
- Operate computers and other office equipment requiring the ability to move fingers and hands.
- See and read computer monitors and documents.
- Remain sitting or standing for long periods of time to perform work on a computer, telephone, or other equipment.
- May require lifting and transporting objects and office supplies, bending, kneeling and reaching.

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.
