Job Description:
Evaluates, designs, tests, implements, upgrades, supports and maintains assigned applications.- Analyzes and documents user requirements, procedures, and problems to automate or improve existing systems. Review system capabilities, workflow, and scheduling limitations.
- Document workflows, configure and/or build activities, change management adherence, end user notifications, training information and status reporting in the appropriate system.
- Develop, document and revise system design procedures, test procedures, and quality standards
- Expand or modify system to serve new purposes or improve workflow. Coordinate and link the application within an organization to increase compatibility for information sharing.
- Review and analyze the system and performance indicators to locate problems, and correct errors.
- Escalate problems and issues to appropriate staff to ensure timely resolution.
- Coordinate projects, schedule and facilitate meetings as necessary to complete assignments.
Required:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Two (2) years of experience in healthcare, technology or related field is required
Preferred:
- Associate or Bachelors degree in Health Information Management, Computer Science, Information Technology, Informatics, Business Administration or Health Administration
- EPIC Professional Billing Resolute Certification
- Epic Claims Certification
- Five (5) years of experience in Information Management systems, systems analysis, project management and management of operations and complex projects
Physical Requirements:
