Job Summary
As a Senior Talent Development Consultant, you will play a crucial role in enhancing and developing learning experiences within Paycor. Your expertise in instructional design and performance consulting will drive the development of effective training programs and ensure alignment with business goals. You'll collaborate with stakeholders, subject matter experts, and learning teams to create impactful learning solutions.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to define learning objectives.
- Analyze existing content and identify gaps.
- Design and develop engaging learning materials, including courses, curriculum, and training manuals.
- Optimize content for various delivery modes (e.g., e-learning, instructor-led training).
- Conduct needs assessments to identify performance gaps.
- Recommend targeted learning interventions to address specific challenges.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of existing training programs.
- Provide data-driven insights to enhance learning outcomes.
- Develop and execute learning strategies aligned with organizational goals.
- Implement innovative approaches, such as blended learning, microlearning, and performance support.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of learning initiatives.
- Independently manage multiple projects, adhering to timelines and budgets.
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
- Monitor project progress and adjust strategies as needed.
- Stay informed about emerging learning technologies.
- Leverage learning management systems (LMS) and other tools to deliver and track training.
- Explore opportunities for gamification, simulations, and interactive content.
- Regularly assess the impact of learning programs.
- Gather feedback from learners and stakeholders.
- Iterate on content based on performance data and learner needs.
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Education, Instructional Design, Organizational Psychology).
- Proven experience as an Instructional Designer or Learning Consultant.
- Familiarity with e-learning platforms and practices.
- Background in project management and budgeting.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to build rapport with employees, vendors, and stakeholders.
