DUTIES: Under the general direction of the Supervisor of Mine Reclamation, the Senior Engineering Geologist (Supervisor) is responsible for supervising staff of the Abandoned Mine Lands Unit (AMLU), providing geologic and scientific expertise, managing, and advocating for the Abandoned Mine Lands program, and facilitating coordination of agencies charged with oversight of abandoned mines to represent California interests within the State and nationwide.

Working Conditions

This position is located in Sacramento and is eligible for a hybrid telework schedule. At least three days of remote work and up to two days of in-office work per week is the available hybrid telework schedule for this position.
