THE ROLE: Senior Engineer, Collaboration
Job Summary:
As a Senior Collaboration Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, and support of advanced solutions for customers across multiple platforms, including Cisco on-prem, hybrid, and cloud collaboration solutions.

Job Responsibilities:
- Lead project delivery team through project life cycle, including design, implementation, and support, across technology platforms.
- Collaborate with members of our National Collaboration team, contributing to the team's overall success.
- Work alongside vendors to successfully deploy their solutions as a subset of our projects.
- Become a trusted advisor and partner to our customers.
- Work with clients to structure project success to align with business goals:
- Lead discovery meetings and participate in detailed design whiteboard sessions
- Define design requirements and articulate the designed solution to the client
- Validate architecture - Exercise and improve on skillsets that directly relate to Cisco technologies and other emerging technologies.
- Understand, adopt, and develop industry best practices.
- Work parallel with Project Leaders, Coordinators, and Management in developing and delivering project documentation and UC trainings, according to defined project deliverables.
- Author professional documentation for client review.
- Author logical and physical diagrams using Microsoft Visio.

Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and/or military experience.
- 6+ years of progressive work experience with Cisco Collaboration technology solutions, including but not limited to Cisco Communications Manager, IM/Presence, Cisco Unity Connection, Expressway, MRA, B2B, Contact Center Express, Webex Control Hub, Cisco CUBE, Cisco Voice Gateways (PRI, FXO, FXS), TMS/TMS-XE/Conductor/Telepresence.
- Current CCNP Collaboration certification strongly preferred.
- In-depth knowledge and understanding of Cisco Collaboration solutions, to gather requirements to build and support new deployments and/or upgrades in mid and large-scale environments.
- Advanced Troubleshooting knowledge of Cisco collaboration components.
- Proficiency in server virtualization and cloud solutions.
- Understanding of underlying Infrastructure as it applies to Routers, Switches, Servers, Virtualization, Microsoft Active Directory, and Exchange.
- Experience with potential third party components that integrate with deployed solutions such as Audiocodes, Synapps, SingleWire, Eleveo, and Akkadian.
