Strategic Leadership:
- Develop and execute data-driven Email Marketing strategies aligned with overall business objectives.
- Identify and define key performance indicators (KPIs) for all email campaigns and initiatives.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in Email Marketing and automation.
- Conduct competitive analysis to inform strategic decision-making and campaign optimization.
- Manage the Email Marketing budget and prioritize resources to maximize ROI.
- Present Email Marketing performance to stakeholders and senior management.
Campaign Execution:
- Concept, develop, and execute multi-channel email campaigns across various communication stages (acquisition, onboarding, nurturing, conversion, retention).
- Create highly targeted and personalized email segments based on audience data and behavioral analysis.
- Craft compelling email copy that resonates with the target audience and drives desired actions.
- Design and build responsive email templates using HTML and CSS, ensuring cross-client compatibility.
- Implement and manage email automation sequences for triggered emails, drip campaigns, and lifecycle marketing.
- Optimize email send times and schedules to maximize open and click-through rates.
Data Analysis and Optimization:
- Perform in-depth analysis of email campaign performance using sophisticated analytics tools.
- Conduct A/B testing on subject lines, copy, design elements, send times, and more to improve campaign performance.
- Utilize heatmaps and click-tracking data to gain insights into subscriber engagement and optimize email content.
- Segment audience data based on engagement levels and tailor future campaigns accordingly.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve open rates, click-through rates, conversion rates, and overall ROI.
Technical Expertise:
- Ensure high deliverability rates by implementing and maintaining SPF, DKIM, and DMARC policies.
- Monitor email sending reputation and proactively address any deliverability issues.
- Integrate Email Marketing platforms with CRM systems and other marketing automation tools.
- Collaborate with IT and development teams on technical aspects of email infrastructure and integrations.
- Maintain a deep understanding of Email Marketing technical best practices.
Team Management and Collaboration:
- Lead and mentor Email Marketing team members, providing coaching and development opportunities.
- Promote a collaborative and data-driven culture within the team.
- Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams (design, content, product, sales) to ensure alignment and campaign success.
- Delegate tasks effectively and maintain project timelines and deliverables.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Stay up-to-date on privacy regulations and ensure Email Marketing compliance with GDPR, CCPA, and other relevant laws.
- Conduct ongoing research and testing to identify and implement new Email Marketing technologies and trends.
- Maintain a strong understanding of SEO/SEM principles to optimize email content for search engines.
