Requirements:
7+ years of experience designing, implementing, and shipping high volume consumer electronics products of medium to high complexity.
Hardware design engineer
Experience in highspeed digital circuit design (Schematics Design)
DDR Memories
Highspeed interfaces: ethernet or USB or PCIe
Experience in running PDN and Power Integrity simulations.
DC/DC regulators - Hands-on design experience and knowledge of the characteristics of power conversion, linear and switching regulators.
Buck, Boost
Good knowledge on tower regulators or power supply unit topology
Experience preferred (not mandatory though) with x86 PC and or ARM power architectures, implementation of system power and battery management system.
Key responsibilities:
Lead Power System Architecture, component selection and system integration for the product
Create power models for battery life and battery capacity requirements.
Power circuit design, analyze the design with simulation tools and calculations, to verify its conformance to the design requirements.
Characterize power consumption, power sequence, battery run time, battery charging/discharging curves.
Evaluate new technologies and enable innovative solutions for efficiency, size, cost, and reliability.
Design, build and test rapid prototypes for evaluation of new product ideas or technology concepts.
Create design documentation, develop schematics, board layout to meet PDN requirements.
