Hello Alpha is seeking a technical individual to join us as a Sr. EHR Product Analyst.  We are seeking someone with a passion for workflow efficiency and improving the way people access healthcare today. The Sr. EHR Product Analyst will work collaboratively as part of Alpha's Product Management and Strategy team to manage and configure our instance of AthenaHealth's EHR, which serves as a backend of our custom-developed telemedicine platform.

As a Sr. EHR Product Analyst, you will be part of a small but mighty Product Management and Strategy team that is focused on identifying the needs of our various constituents and developing a technology platform to enable the care of our patients.. In this role, you will get experience working with stakeholders from various departments, aligning roadmaps to business and clinical needs, assisting with training and development programs, reviewing and suggesting process updates, and other tasks as assigned .

Key areas of ownership that you will drive forward for the organization personally, and collaborating cross-functionally
    • Collaborate as a member of the Product Management organization to ensure that our Athena EMR is configured to support our clinical workflows within our custom-developed software platform
    • Manage our relationship with AthenaHealth, including feature requests and support issues
    • Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to understand how elements of Athena are used across our business
    • Work closely with vendors to understand their offering and options to achieve meaningful outcomes
    • Assists in the development of product roadmaps that are clear and understandable to stakeholders
    • Support product improvement and ongoing use of standard and customizable content, clinical integration, and optimization activities
    • Participate in regular user groups to share new product configurations and collect user feedback
    • Conduct problem analysis by taking on hard-to-understand issues and proposing solutions
    • Work with the Product and Engineering teams to provide support for software functionality, content and defect resolution updates
    • Support the evaluation of the functionality of vendors prior to release
    • Assist in development and execution of test plans and in troubleshooting and testing of integration points
    • Promote system security and patient confidentiality and help ensure compliance
    • Manage multiple projects, work with integrated teams and support complex problems

    • Professional experience configuring and maintaining an EMR platform for primary care, experience with AthenaHealth a plus 
    • Product Development experience with focus on system integration and configuration
    • Vendor negotiations and relationship management
    • Demonstrated ability to establish and build strong relationships across a broad range of personality types
    • Project Management skills that drive performance to a completed state understood by all
    • Professional experience working with medical Revenue Cycle Management and the data needed to support it
    • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with clinical, operations, product and technology personnel verbally and in writing
    • Possesses knowledge of appropriate data sources to address specific requirements of projects for monitoring, analysis, and modeling
    • Experience in developing training materials, process management, and system integration communications
30 Day View: Learning & Immediate Impact
    • Meet with the members of the Product Management and Strategy organization and begin to get to know your team
    • Begin to review our Athena configuration and its role as part of our platform
    • Meet with key stakeholders in the Clinical and Operations teams to understand how Athena impacts their day-to-day work
    • Meet and establish regular touchpoints with our contacts at Athena
60 Day View: Process Improvement
    • Partner with Engineering to identify and document integration points and look for improvements 
    • Identify data elements that are used across our platform that should be stored in Athena
    • Conduct an audit of existing roles and permissions and how they are configured in our Athena instance 
    • Determine standards and execute the adherence to regulatory requirements, quality standards and best practices for our use of Athena and collaborates with internal and external stakeholders
90 Day View: Scaling processes and innovation
    • Partner with training, program management, and product management to create documentation and training materials
    • Focus on strategic initiatives by providing workflow analysis, build, testing, implementation, and support across all EMR-system use cases
    • Assist with the development and adherence to standard operating procedures and maintain build standards
    • Perform quality control and testing, and may review the build of other analysts to ensure that solutions are technically sound
Perks
    • The base salary range for this position is between $80,000 - $90,000, plus an equity grant. Please note that the base salary is a guideline and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies, and relevant market
