- Contribute to Supply Chain strategy for planning related topics, and translate Supply Chain strategy into planning strategy.
- Define and propose inventory strategy according to product life cycle and deployment rules (such as introduction, end of life, and products clearing).
- Supervise Demand, Procurement and inventory planning activities.
- Define and monitor KPI and objectives, define corrective actions plans.
- Define actions plans to improve processes, methods and tools.
- Elaborate and present budget for inventory activities, Production Purchasing amounts and monitor actual expenses versus budget.
- Lead cross-functional planning process with company stakeholders (such as Markets, Finance, Marketing, Product Development) in order to optimize company's results.
- Share and communicate planning vision and strategy to teams.
- Set challenging and achievable objectives and roadmap to the managers.
- Organize and manage resources (identify potential, mobility to come and jobs rotation opportunities, develop engagement and DEI within the team).
- Recruit, animate, motivate, train and develop teams and potential to guarantee efficiency (Work from home is permitted within the U.S., but employee is expected to work from the San Francisco, CA worksite on a regular basis).
Minimum Requirements:
- Master's degree or a foreign equivalent in Engineering, Information/Management Systems, or a related field plus three (3) years of experience in the job offered, or as a Manager, Supply Planner, or a related occupation.
- In the alternative, the employer will accept a Bachelor's degree in a stated field or foreign equivalent plus five (5) years of progressively responsible experience. Any suitable combination of education, training or experience is acceptable.
Experience Must Include:
- Broad experience in Supply Chain operations and management or related experience including procurement and inventory planning
- Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio) skills
- Understanding of Material Requirements Planning (MRP), Demand and inventory management
- Microsoft AX and Anaplan
Schedule/ Location:
- Hybrid - requires onsite presence weekly in San Francisco, CA, US, 94104
- 15-20% domestic and international travel required to internal and external sites
The target salary range for this position is $190,000 - $230,000. The actual salary offered will depend on a variety of factors, which may include, as applicable, years of relevant experience; certifications or other professional licenses held; other legitimate, non-discriminatory business factors specific to the position; and the geographic location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will perform the job. This position is eligible to earn an annual bonus.
