- Works with peers and other company leaders to implement and administer the Company's Supply Chain, specifically as it relates to strategic supplier arrangements, supplier development, manufacturing oversight and procurement.
- Develops and implements programs to ensure robust oversight of manufacturing of the NuScale scope of supply.
- Develops and implements programs to ensure that suppliers meet NuScale and project cost, quality and schedule objectives.
- Interfaces directly with the design authority and suppliers and implements actions and programs to ensure that the manufactured products meet the approved design requirements.
- Interfaces with project Engineering Procurement and Construction companies to develop and implement a Division of Responsibilities for the supply of all materials and equipment needed for a NuScale power plant deployment.
- Works with company leaders to identify potential supplier relationships and participates on or leads the negotiation of strategic relationships which assure a robust Supply Chain with competitive pricing for global projects.
- Develops and manages budgets for the areas of responsibility. Makes budgetary recommendations and controls capital expenditures.

- Quality Assurance: Demonstrates understanding and implementation of quality assurance regulations, standards and guidelines of 10 CFR 50 Appendix B, 10 CFR 21, and NQA-1.
- Education: A minimum of a B.S. degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or similar fields is required. Advanced business or management degree preferred.
- Experience: A minimum of ten years’ experience in Supply Chain and/or manufacturing management roles is required. Must have strong technical writing skills, good communication, computer, presentation and interpersonal skills and exceptional organization skills and ability to manage complex projects with multiple work phases. The following additional skills and experience are preferred:
- Procurement and strategic supplier management expertise
- Experience managing first/second level managers or directors
- Proven track record of successful project/process management
- Experience working within the energy industry, specifically commercial nuclear power experience.
- Industry Requirements: Eligible to work under Department of Energy 10 CFR Part 810.
- Ability to understand and communicate clearly using a phone, personal interaction, and computers.
- Ability to learn new job functions and comprehend and understand new concepts quickly and apply them accurately in a rapidly evolving environment.
- The employee frequently is required; to sit and stand; walk; bend, use hands to operate office equipment; and reach with hands and arms.
- Ability to travel locally and nationally using common forms of transportation.
