This role supports the Global J&J Q&C organization. It serves as the Chief of Staff for the Chief Quality Officer and Quality & Compliance Leadership Team (QCLT), develops the functional strategy for the organization, leads critical functional projects in support of the organization, and ensures operational results are delivered.
The scope of responsibilities includes:
- Lead the planning and facilitation Quality & Compliance Leadership Team (QCLT) meetings.
- Lead development and maintenance of the Q&C strategy and tracking progress on strategy execution
- Lead the organizational governance team structure identifying sponsors & champions to drive key functional priorities and initiatives for the organization.
- Manage annual budget development, compliance, and ongoing management in close partnership with Finance and the CQO & QCLT
- Manage annual enterprise Q&C Goals and Objectives development and execution.
- Support the development of QCLT communications.
- Develop and deliver change management plans to drive inspiration, understanding, and adoption of the Q&C strategy and key programs and initiatives with Q&C people leaders, employees, and key business stakeholders.
- Lead QCLT & teams to drive improvements to the Enterprise Performance Management framework, scorecards, and key functional processes.
- Lead key planning, implementation & governance workstreams of Q&C's functional strategy
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent is required, MBA or further advanced degree is desirable.
Experience and Skills:
- Minimum 12 years of related experience required (Preferred functions: Quality, Regulatory, or Compliance, Tech Ops & Risk, Supply Chain, Digital/Technology, Project/Portfolio Management)

- Strategic leader - the ability to think strategically to create, shape, and apply meaningful strategies that meet long, and short-term goals of the functional future state strategy.
- Strong Business, Digital, and Financial Acumen - the ability to understand challenges through the eyes of the business leaders. Ability to identify strategies with a digital-first mindset. To integrate internal and external business drivers and financial insights to drive outcomes for the business.
- Project/Portfolio management skills
- Ability to prioritize by identifying key priorities and continuously re-prioritize time to meet the most urgent needs without letting important goals suffer.
- Ability to operate under high pressure in a high-demand, fast-paced environment with multiple senior stakeholders.
- Flexible - demands in this role may occasionally encroach on personal time, although all attempts are made to minimize this.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is $163,000 to $282,900.
The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation's performance over a calendar/performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company's discretion on an individual basis.

- Work, Personal and Family Time - up to 40 hours per calendar year
