Job Summary

The Sr. Director Network Quality is responsible for designing, communicating, implementing, maintaining and inspecting Inside / Outside plant Network Quality standards for the entire Altice USA national footprint. 

Responsibilities

  • Required to manage the daily operations, performance and staff support of the quality team across the entire network footprint.
  • Responsible for collaborating across organizational boundaries (sales, customer care, regional VPGM’s, inside/outside plant, construction, planning, engineering, finance and IT) to identify opportunities to improve the customer experience and ensure the Quality organization is fully integrated into the broader Altice USA strategy.
  • Responsible for prioritizing enhancement opportunities in the Inside / Outside plant space to create the best possible customer experience. 
  • Requires a proactive focus on 99.999% reliability, unambiguous technical and procedural consistency, clear and timely communication all while ensuring disciplined financial execution. Guarantee success this leader will also need to design, partner to implement and then optimize an objective reporting and analytics framework for quality across the ISP / OSP organization that is integrated with key partners across the company.
  • Development of clear unambiguous standards and associated metrics is a critical part of the role. 
  • Responsible for building, developing and leading a high performing organization with the right mix of technical and leadership expertise at each level.
  • Leader is expected to foster an intentional culture by driving a mindset and behaviors that are heavily focused on designing, communicating, implementing, maintaining and inspecting best in class network standards that when followed create an outstanding customer experience. 
  • Expected to be able to effectively use resources available inside the organization and partner to engage appropriate resources outside the organization to drive success.
  • Expected to perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years operational management experience in networking or technology
  • Experience in a quality, operational improvement or transformation role
  • Experience working with HFC, PON, or other network technology
  • Experience working with Critical infrastructure (power, UPS, HVAC and fire suppression) systems
  • Experience building a new organization or transforming an existing organization and establishing new processes, metrics and culture
  • Must have the ability to analyze data/information and utilize key operating metrics to guide decisive decision making and be able to articulate decisions clearly and appropriately the intended audience
  • Must have the ability to explain opportunities, issues, needs, deliverables and projects in terms appropriate to the audience and gain buy in from peers to drive appropriate changes
  • Strategic thinking capabilities with ability to envision, articulate, and plan complex deliverables to align with the broader organization’s overarching goals and financial needs
  • Ability to build tactical plans based on corporate strategy and then deliver on those plans by breaking them down into discrete manageable components that tie back to the overarching strategy
  • Program management experience including the design, implementation and oversight of a program office
  • Strong leadership and managerial skills; ability to select, develop and motivate talent and coach to/address capability gaps
  • Must have the ability to develop, communicate and embed best practice procedures within a large team, influence other large teams to adopt those practices and communicate effectively across other interrelated functional areas
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills with leadership ability to communicate cross functionally and at the executive level within the organization
  • Must be highly organized and able to manage both teams and issues in a highly urgent environment
  • A strong collaborative mindset with a clear understanding of how the role impacts key partners such as regional VP GM’s ISP/OSP, care and sales with the ability to work jointly across teams to improve the customer experience
