What you'll do...

Our Senior Director, Fashion Office will oversee the Trend & Styling teams and help set the Omni fashion vision for total division. They will influence design & merchants throughout the Product Life Cycle to ensure Trends are executed across brands and will act as the main point of contact for merchant leadership, creative/marketing and editorial as it pertains to how these trends come to life in our fashion marketing.

You will use your deep passion for fashion and keen understanding of market trends, along with exceptional leadership skills to drive the growth and success of Walmart Fashion. You will partner with cross-functional teams in shaping the direction of our fashion offerings and ensuring their alignment with our company goals.

You'll sweep us off our feet if:

You'll make an impact by:

  • Develop and executive the creative fashion strategy through trend. Create a compelling vision for our Walmart Fashion team that aligns with the overall strategy. Identify and capitalize on market trends, consumer behaviors and emerging fashion movement to drive sales and achieve financial targets.

  • Lead and develop a fashion team by providing guidance, mentorship to foster a positive and innovative work environment.

  • Partner with editorial, design, and color teams to concept and execute on fashion stories that highlight the most important seasonal messages.

  • Become embedded in the merchandising, design, and product development teams to maintain an in-depth knowledge of assortments, key strategic initiatives, and high focus areas.

  • Partner with visual and site merchandising teams to ensure the vision is executed both in-store and digitally to match the creative vision.

  • Lead quarterly comp shops, press previews, influencer events, fashion shows and future ideations on brand & designer collaborations .

Preferred Qualification:

  • 15+ years related experience in Creative, Trend, Editorial, Fashion Office or related field.

  • Bachelors Degree in related field

  • Managerial Experience leading, hiring, training and inspiring multi-faceted teams

  • Experience in consumer-focused store and digital environments

  • Ability to set clear objectives and performance measures

  • Demonstrated ability to work as part of a cross-functional team and willingness to take on responsibilities outside primary job description when necessary

  • Assertive, adaptable and demonstrates initiative in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities

The annual salary range for this position is $156,000.00-$312,000.00

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance incentives.

Additional compensation for certain positions may also include:

  • Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) (based on location)

  • Stock equity incentives

Minimum Qualifications...

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Textiles, Fashion, Graphic Design, or related field and 7 years' experience in textile design, print design, graphic design, or related field OR 9 years' experience in textile design, print design, graphic design, or related field. 2 years' supervisory experience. 2 years' experience working with Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, or related graphic design software.
