Work within SaaS Operations agile team on enterprise-class system development, including development of innovative solutions using Octopus, Team City, Jenkins, Docker with a focus on AWS based platforms. Assist in Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery of applications and components in a scaled agile environment. Collaborate with Engineers/Developers, QA resources, Business Analysts, Architects and Product Owners to estimate and deliver work inside of a sprint. Participate in test planning, automation, and execution within assigned Software Development POD and DevOps team. Work current computer hardware and software development languages, especially Python, Powershell, Bash, Dotnet Core, proficiency using technologies as Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, Dynatrace, Prometheus and NewRelic. Running production workloads on AWS EKS. Utilizing CDN based WAF technologies such as CloudFlare and CloudFront. Manage CI/CD pipelines using Git, Gitlab, BitBucket and TeamCity.Apply DevOps practices to our specific business operations involving the application of business specific knowledge of our exist architecture. Troubleshooting methodologies for production environments on Linux systems and highly distributed system. Understand the lifecycle implications of EKS on AWS and have performed upgrades to both production and non-production systems successfully in the past.
Must possess at least a bachelor's degree or its equivalent in Systems Engineering or a related engineering field and at least 7 years of progressive experience as a DevOps/Stack/Platform/System Administrator/Engineer or related role. Must possess the following: at least 5 years of experience working with production Linux systems; at least 4 years of experience in software development, DevOps, or Technical Operations in either a cloud-based or datacenter environment mesh of microservices written in Java/Python; at least 3 years of experience in MicroServices architecture and development; at least 3 years of experience in Automated CI/CD pipeline (Team City/Octopus); at least 3 years of experience managing on premise hypervisors (VMware vCenter or KVM based); at least 2 years of experience with Python, Powershell, Bash, Dotnet Core, as well as Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, Dynatrace, Prometheus and NewRelic; at least 2 years of experience running production workloads utilizing a managed Kubernetes service with third party aggregated logging such as Sumo Logic or DataDog; at least 2 years of experience using Configuration Management tools on Linux systems like Chef/Ansible; and at least 1 year of experience with SQL Server or other relational databases.
The wage range for this position is $150,000.00 to $160,000.00 with the actual pay dependent on your skills and experience as they relate to the job requirements and the location where you will be performing the job.
