Job Description
- Works with IT developers to facilitate better coordination among operations, development, and testing functions by automating and streamlining integration and deployment processes. DevOps aims at coupling a tighter alignment between IT operations and businesses.
- 8 or more years of experience, relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals, independently performs a variety of complicated tasks, and a wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
- Architect, design, develop, and integrate tools and technologies to achieve "end-to-end DEVSECOPS process automation and on-demand standup and decommissioning of the environment as a single "unit.
- Analyze the technology and point solutions in their current state, and develop plans and processes for improvement and expansion as needed.
- Support Application Development Life Cycle for concurrent application development targeting multiple future releases.
- Document processes and procedures.
- Experience in Architecting, designing, developing, and integrating tools and technologies to achieve "end-to-end DEVSECOPS process automation and on-demand standup and decommissioning of the environment as a single "unit.
- Experience automating and tool chaining using Git, Jenkins, Ansible, ansible Tower, Terraform, and Terragrunt
- Experience integrating Artifactory for images, 3rd party libraries, and other artifacts
- Experience with WebSphere ND, MQ, Liquibase
- Familiarity with Containers and Container orchestration Kubernetes platforms such as PODMAN, docker, EE/OpenShift/Rancher
- Experience with script languages such as Groovy, Python, Shell, Ruby
- Experience with Linux, Solaris, and Windows operating systems
- Familiarity with WebSphere Liberty, Tomcat, JBOSS
- Familiarity with containerization and with installing and maintaining DevSecOps tools on the Kubernetes platform using Helm Charts
- Experience in IT automated solutions design
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
6 years Preferred
- Experience with coding languages and environments including but not limited to Java, J2EE, EJB (Enterprise Java Beans), and JSP (JavaServer Pages / Stored Procedures).
