Savage X Fenty is looking for aMerchandise Planner
As aMerchandise Planneryou will work closely with cross-functional partners in the creation and management of merchandise sales, gross margin and inventory plans at the department and class level for our business.
The ability to multi-task and prioritize will be important to the success of this role. Strong communication, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment is required.
The role is critical to the growth of Savage X Fenty and will play an intricate role in the Planning department as well as work closely with the Merchandising, Marketing, Production and Finance teams.
This position will report to the Director, Planning - Savage X Fenty.
What you will do:
- Develop and maintain annual, seasonal, and monthly merchandise plans for multiple product categories
- Manage the financial success of the business by meeting sales goals and maintaining healthy inventory levels
- Present recommendations and other analysis to leadership related to driving short term and long term business goals
- Provide insights and recommendations to key stakeholders for future season planning
- Develop effective promotional strategies to optimize inventory productivity and maintain healthy turn
- Maintain daily, weekly and monthly sales performance reports
- Actualize and reforecast item level plans for our core program to ensure the flow of inventory supports the current and future business
- Identify risks and opportunities regarding the in stock inventory position by size in retail stores
- Develop and maintain effective working relationships with cross functional team members
- Additional ad hoc projects and responsibilities as required to support the Planning and Merchandising teams
What you can bring:
- Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of experience in planning and inventory management
- Solid understanding of financial measurements including sales, gross margin, inventory turn, ST%, weeks of supply and how to impact them
- Strong knowledge in Microsoft Office, with a high proficiency in Excel
- Detailed oriented and a high accuracy in reporting
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Ability to build and maintain productive relationships with peers and cross-functional teams
- Ability to work under pressure in an environment of constant change and shifting priorities

The annual base salary range for this position is from $85,000-$98,000Offers to candidates are expected to fall within this range and will depend on the scope and complexity of the role, work experience, subject matter expertise, work location and other relevant factors.
