We are actively seeking a skilled Cloud-native DevOps engineer with extensive experience in Kubernetes and its ecosystem products, or a versatile multi-discipline system engineer. In this pivotal role, you will offer customers technical leadership in designing, installing, upgrading, configuring, deploying, packaging, automating administrative processes, implementing, and securing various container-based solutions within their environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct consulting engagements with customers.
- Plan, design, and build cloud-native solutions using leading Kubernetes distributions like TKG, EKS, and GKE.
- Develop automation processes enhancing CI/CD workflows and environment creation/configurations.
- Deploy and customize CI/CD supply chains tailored to diverse customer needs and applications, ensuring an efficient developer experience using Tanzu Application Platform.
- Guide transitions from traditional monolithic applications to distributed container-based and immutable infrastructures.
- Implement complex technical solutions on-site.
- Produce technical documents, low-level designs, technical presentations, and hands-on workshops.
- Create and deliver Knowledge transfer presentations internally and to customers.
Key Requirements:
- Minimum of 4 years’ experience as a DevOps engineer.
- Proficient knowledge and hands-on experience with the Linux OS.
- Experience in deploying and administering Kubernetes environments.
- Automation experience in administrative tasks using at least three of the following technologies: Ansible, Terraform, Helm, Python, Jenkins, Tekton, TAP, YTT, Bash.
- Excellent English language writing and speaking skills.
- Demonstrated excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to swiftly adopt cutting-edge technologies, study and implement them with best practices.
- Ability to transition between different customers and technologies.
- Instructional skills, including preparing presentations.
Nice to have/ Advantages:
- Experience with Kubernetes-based services (ingresses, services, Load balancers).
- Building/enhancing multi-tier infrastructure and services using automation tools like Ansible and Terraform.
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, EF/LK, Grafana, Kibana).
- Experience writing low-level design and architecture documents.
- Familiarity with Kubernetes ecosystems (Vault, Consul) and service mesh solutions (Istio).
- Knowledge of public cloud-managed k8s solutions (EKS, GKE).
- Understanding and implementation of security principles (Network policies, pod security policies, secrets management, static code inspections, runtime, and pipeline inspections).

Salary & Benefits: The salary range for this position is around 160,000-$200,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including healthcare, retirement plans, paid time off, and professional growth and development opportunities. The final offer will take into account the specific role, location, and the candidate's unique experience. Additional incentives such as bonuses, commissions, or equity may be available for this position.
