Established apparel manufacturer looking for Sr. Designers to re-launch 2 contemporary labels for the mass market.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Design in Fashion Design.
- At least 10 - 12 + years of design experience in Women’s Sportswear. Focus on novelty woven and knit tops.
- Experience with new brand launches.
- Skilled in the development of novelty embellishments and embroidery layouts.
- Excellent taste level; Strong eye for colors and prints.
- Strong knowledge of woven and cut and sew fabrications.
- Drive business with the ability to identify key trends, color and print direction, silhouettes, and new fabrications.
- Strategic and creative thinker.
- Troubleshooter, creative problem solving.
- Work independently to build a cohesive line.
- Must have advanced skills with Adobe Illustrator/ Photoshop, and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent taste level with a great eye for color and print development.
- Able to manage and prioritize multiple tasks to meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced work environment.
- Manage, develop, and lead production presentations.

- Experience working with the TJX Corporation is a plus
Job Responsibilities:
- Sketch, create tech packs and generate order CADS.
- Provide reliable and responsible support to the President & Design Director.
- Effective e-mail communication with buyers and agents.
- Day to day upkeep of filing and organization.
- Tracking and following up on sample development charts to ensure that the showroom samples are well-executed and in adherence to calendar deadlines.
- Refresh the showroom with an extensive product line every 2 months.
- Shop retail.
- Attend fit sessions; work with tech design team to ensure design intent is maintained.
- Review and approve lab-dips, print strike-offs and bulk fabric submits.
Compensation
- $150,000 commensurate with experience
