Your day to day as a Senior Day Careand Palolo Wellness Program ManagerWe are seeking a passionate individual to join our team at Palolo Chinese Home as the Senior Day Careand Palolo Wellness Program Manager. In this role, you will have the opportunity to oversee both the Palolo Wellness Program (PWP) and Senior Day Care (SDC) departments. Your main responsibilities will include developing and conducting service and care plans for our clients and their family caregivers within both programs. You will also provide direction and training for our dedicated staff members, as well as interact directly with clients, providers, and community members.

What you need to be successfulTo be successful in the role of Senior Day Careand Palolo Wellness Program Manager, there are several key skills and qualifications required. First and foremost, excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential, as well as strong interpersonal skills. Previous experience in a medical setting and familiarity with long-term care or social service procedures is necessary to effectively coordinate and conduct service and care plans. The successful candidate will have the ability to handle clients based on their current and changing functional level, demonstrating leadership abilities, patience, tact, a cheerful disposition, and enthusiasm. Proficiency in MS Office products, such as Word and Excel, is required for administrative tasks.
Autonomy, organization, assertiveness, flexibility, and cooperation are important traits for carrying out job responsibilities. A valid driver's license and access to a reliable automobile are necessary for transportation needs. A minimum of two years' experience in a long-term care, home health setting, or community-based nursing services is required, along with previous supervisory or management experience.
