SalaryWe are seeking a Senior Data Scientist to join our team. The individual in this position will have a background in statistical methods for data analysis, machine learning and data mining. A successful candidate will be able to develop new algorithms and apply existing ones to specific business problems. This individual will have a strong technical understanding of data processing and will work closely with our engineering staff and business teams to create solutions using data.
Responsibilities:
- Use and master multiple data science tools.
- Have a solid understanding of the major data science algorithms.
- Improve the performance of existing algorithms.
- Build and design new algorithms for the company.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of products using data science methods and models.
- Be able to explain complex technical issues to non-technical staff and clients.
- Solve complex technical problems using analytical thinking and basic programming skills.
- Be able to write about your data science approach in a way that is easy for others to understand, giving examples and connecting them to real-world applications.
