Position Details
Duties Performed in the Usual Course of the Job
Serve as faculty member in the Agribusiness discipline. This is a 100% teaching appointment, or 75% teaching and 25% service with opportunity for promotion and merit pay increases. Primary teaching responsibilities will be in the discipline of Agribusiness with an emphasis in sales, management, and policy. Teaching of some online courses is expected. In addition, as a member of an interdisciplinary team, the successful candidate will advise undergraduate students, participate in outreach conferences and activities, and work closely with the agricultural community and industry stakeholders.
Nine months (additional summer teaching salary highly probable).
Educational Requirements for the Position
An earned Master's or Doctoral degree in Agribusiness, Agricultural Economics, or closely related field is required. Evidence of actual or potential success in teaching, research, service, and professionalism is expected.
Experience Required for the Position
Excellent written and oral communication skills in the English language are required. Must have a strong commitment to undergraduate education and interdisciplinary collaboration.
