JOB DUTIES: Develop and generate standard operational and client data. Assist in monitoring and maintaining the central U.S. Claims Database and related Power BI dashboards and extract reporting. Extract data from different internal sources / systems, Business Objects Environment, Claims Data Warehouse, Policy Data Marts, and various other sources. Monitor and maintain the managed care medical treatment and experience dataset, ensuring timely and accurate production of pharmacy utilization reporting. Create ad-hoc analytics, reports and account level dashboards as required by Cranmore and Enstar senior management in relation to claims, managed care and litigation bill review. Analyze key performance indicators (KPI’s) to monitor trends in the underlying claims data and apply to the life cycle of the claims by applying a variety of statistical techniques, such as time series and regression analysis. Identify data patterns in past behavior to identify fraudulent and duplicate claims and bills. Analyze claims data and apply mathematical and statistical techniques to solve problems. Validate and analyze data while delivering reports across different levels of the organization using Mitchells SSRS Report Builder 3.0. Assist with the data integration of newly acquired portfolios to ensure consistent reporting and data quality/integrity. Establish the data analytics lifecycle within the organization and maintain the process using principles of Six Sigma to identify waste and reduce lead time in projects. Assist with other aspects of data-related analysis and reporting as required. Telecommuting is permitted.
JOB REQUIREMENTS: Master’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Information Technology, Engineering Management, or related field.
Must have work/internship experience or completed graduate coursework/research in each of the following:
1. BI tools like Microsoft Power BI and Traditional BI platforms Power Validation.
2. Writing complex queries in Data Expression Language (DAX).
3. SQL Server Management Studio and ETL processes.
4. Cloudera’s Hadoop Big Data platform, including use of the Arcadia report writing and dashboard development software.
5. Microsoft Excel software including Power Pivot, Excel Pivot Table and Advanced Excel Formula Functions.
6. Dataset reconciliations to key financial statement reports.
7. Trifacta’s data wrangling toolset in the Hadoop Big Data environment.
8. Hive SQL coding, Javascripting, CSS, HTML5 and data modelling.
The target base salary pay range for this role is $75,000-$95,000*
*Target full-time equivalent base salary range is based on relevant market data. Actual salary offered will depend on applicable market data for hiring location and relevant candidate knowledge, skills/experience. This salary range is not inclusive of applicable discretionary incentives.
