Job description

The Data Integration Sr Lead Analyst is responsible for overseeing daily activities that support the execution, enablement, and adoption of the Data Transformation Plan and/or support of use cases through collaboration with functions, regions, and lines of business. This role partners with a range of stakeholders, including senior management, and engages in cross functional collaboration to achieve outcomes. An ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines, along with strong people skills and project management expertise are required.
Responsibilities:

  • Identify stakeholders and key organizations to build and manage relationships with
  • Gather, synthesize, and distil detailed information to deliver crisp and succinct executive-level communication.
  • Simultaneously manage multiple projects including delivery and management level communications
  • Develop and own content for relevant governance forums.
  • Lead the facilitation, coordination, and arbitration of cross-functional complex problems within / across programs and with Senior Management
  • Liaise between the Enterprise Chief Data Office, Federated Chief Data Office and other key partners in the Functions and Lines of Business to progress the Data Transformation agenda.
  • Lead work streams focusing on broad range of Data initiatives including data requirements, issues management, Data Quality rules, lineage, and taxonomy.
  • Develop business requirements, process mapping of current and future state processes, communication applications of new processes and facilitating the change management program to move to the new process.
  • Articulate Issue requirements and acceptance criteria concisely ready for upload into system of record.
  • Identify the issue origination point / break point in systems, build out, document and complete RCA.
  • Complete end point impact assessment for all impacted systems, reports and calculation for the relevant Data Element
  • Implement end to end solution with artifacts loaded into GFT Jira and DCRM
  • Build an actionable detailed plan which demonstrates delivery dates for each SDLC phase based on Citi SDLC policy including testing approach for individual items.
  • Manage functional scorecards to continue monitoring Data Quality for impacted data element in the report or calculation or model.

Qualifications:
  • 10+ years of experience, Banking or Finance industry preferred. Prior strategy consulting experience with a focus on change management and program delivery preferred.
  • Strong business analysis competency with historic success in shaping opportunities via conceptual thinking and abstract problem-solving capabilities
  • Communicates effectively, develops, and delivers multi-mode communications that convey a clear understanding of the unique needs of different audiences; able to drive consensus, and influence relationships at all levels.
  • Collaborates effectively by building partnerships and working well with others to meet shared objectives.
  • Strong negotiation, influencing and stakeholder management skills across a variety of stakeholders at various levels.
  • Optimizes work processes by balancing effective / efficient processes with a focus on continuous improvement. Demonstrates ability to balance between seeing the "big picture" while paying close attention to detail.
  • Organizational savvy: understands systems, management processes, knows where to go for information and how to interpret them.
  • In depth understanding of multiple Financial products
  • Knowledge of US Regulatory Reporting requirements
  • Working knowledge of Citi's Data Operating Model

Education:
  • Bachelor's/University degree, master's degree preferred.
