Customer Engagement Work  
  
  • Identify problems within Payscale products and provide workarounds    
  • Troubleshoot complex requests and advance to development team as appropriate    
  • Deliver proactive and reactive customer service with empathetic and professional communication    
  • Provide timely and accurate solutions to customer requests    
  • Maintain accurate case records by documenting all interactions and resolution steps and updating case field 
 
Act As a Trusted Advisor: Evaluate customer comp strategy and make recommendations on how to implement, including how to use the product, but also as a framework supported by the product, using independent judgment and driven by specific customer requirements.    
 
TAM: Act as Technical Account Manager (single point of contact) for between 0 to 10 clients as needed. 
   
Account Management: Build collaborative relationships with assigned customers, understand their needs as unique from other customers, and provide guidance on comp practice and strategy that meets those customers’ needs. The TAM (Technical Account Manager) is intimately involved in the customers comp cycle and will help customers complete cyclical tasks like Survey Participation and Year over Year Migrations.     
   
Reporting: Advise client on use of reports to achieve strategic goals and help the client define requirements for reports that can be implemented by the senior reporting team.    
   
Engineering Engagement: Provide meaningful feedback based on their experience with individual clients and the Support team as a whole to engineering with the goal of improving the client experience through product enhancements and/or tools that the team can use to improve the support experience.    
  
Work Prioritization: Use best judgement and business acumen to prioritize work directly from clients or as a collaborator with less senior team members as makes sense from an overall client experience perspective. 
 
Supervision: Work independently with little or no day-to-day direction on particular tasks with overall priorities set through team meetings and weekly or fortnightly one-on-ones. 
 
Problem Solving: Identify key issues and patterns from partial/conflicting data. Take a broad perspective on problems and spot new, less obvious solutions.  
  
Job Requirements  
 
  • Familiarity with compensation planning    
  • Experience providing enterprise software support    
  • Understanding of foundational application layer support (SFTP, SSO, APIs) technologies    
  • Intermediate to Advanced experience with Excel   
  • Experience with Marketpay or other compensation software (highly desirable)     
  • Experience supporting dedicated customers, as opposed to queue-based work (highly desirable)    
Compensation     
  

In the spirit of pay transparency, we are excited to share the base salary range for this position is  $78,900 - $118,300, exclusive of fringe benefits or potential bonuses. This position is also eligible for an annual corporate bonus of 10%. If you are hired at Payscale, your final base salary compensation will be determined based on factors such as skills, education, and/or experience. In addition to those factors – we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider any internal equity of our current team members as a part of any final offer. Please keep in mind that the range mentioned above is the full base salary range for the role. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical in order to allow for future & continued salary growth. We also offer a generous compensation and benefits package (more information on benefits listed below).
