We are seeking a highly motivated, diligent, independent attorney to join the Litigation and Government Investigations team. The Senior Counsel, Litigation and Government Investigations will be responsible for managing domestic and international internal investigations and Government Investigations. The role will also be responsible for managing securities, antitrust, commercial, and product liability disputes and advising internal clients on pre-dispute resolution and mitigation.
Requirements and Responsibilities:
  • The position requires substantive experience in internal and Government Investigations.
  • Prior federal government experience is desirable but not required.
  • Prior experience with the FCPA is desirable but not required.
  • Prior experience in general commercial litigation, securities litigation, antitrust litigation, and/or product liability litigation is preferred.
  • The Senior Counsel will be responsible for managing domestic and international internal and Government Investigations.
  • The successful candidate will have experience collaborating closely with other Law Department colleagues and functional support groups to provide legal advice and counsel on emerging and fast-moving issues.
  • This position requires working well within a team, and the ability to work collaboratively and efficiently with others is critical. Candidates must possess strong interpersonal skills.

Qualifications:
  • Law degree from recognized university. Qualification to practice law in New Jersey or ability to obtain a NJ in-house counsel limited license.
  • At least 6 years of legal experience, some of which should include having worked in a corporate legal department or law firm.
  • Significant experience with the pharmaceutical industry generally and understanding of current federal and state pharmaceutical litigation and enforcement environment, and relevant statutes and regulations (including FCPA, False Claims Act, and anti-kickback statutes), is strongly preferred.
