Job description

Primary Duties & Responsibilities
* Lead cost accounting process of setting labor/overhead rates and item cost updates and answering global cost inquiries. Maintain standard cost modeler including yields and Hours Per Units.
* Manage local inventory reporting, inventory reserve reporting and work with inventory cycle count administrator to improve inventory count accuracy. Coordinate internal and external inventory audits and conduct local audits.
* Assist with the preparation of the 5-Year Plan and recurring forecasts. Analyze and communicate assumptions and variances.
* Complete weekly/monthly financial management reports and review all reports for errors and inconsistencies; analyze variations in forecast and actual performance; determine reasons for variance; develop recommendations for improvement.
* Work with and provide support to department leaders to facilitate the flow of timely and accurate information.
* Effectively forecast and track capital equipment purchases by working with Purchasing, Engineering and Corporate Fixed Assets teams.
* Maintain, analyze and continuously improve accounting/operations processes.
* Assist with month-end and quarter-end close process, reporting and audit requests.
* Complete Ad Hoc projects as determined by Controller/Materials Finance Leadership team/Operations leadership team.
Education & Experience
* 4 Year College Degree (Bachelor or Equivalent)
* 4 years' relevant experience in a manufacturing setting
Skills
* CPA, CMA, MBA or Advanced Degree in Cost Accounting preferred
* Understanding of fully integrated ERP system, Oracle is a plus
* Hyperion experience
* Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and proficiency in PowerPoint
* Exceptional verbal and written communications skills
* Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
* Proactive, punctual and reliable
Working Conditions
* Wear full cleanroom attire (smock, mask, etc.) periodically when conducting audits
* Be available during non-working hours for urgent business requests
Physical Requirements
* Ability to travel if required.
