Senior Corporate Payroll Analyst

A Brief Overview
The Senior Payroll Analyst is responsible for the accurate and proficient preparation and processing of full-cycle, complex multistate and Canada payroll and processes throughout various time zones ensuring federal and state compliance using Oracle HCM. 
What you will do
  • Executes full-cycle payroll processing for company personnel, including new hires, status changes, and terminations.
  • Processes payroll-related tasks/requests, including supplemental pay requests, salary transfers, bonuses, 401K transfers, terminations of worksite employees, etc.
  • Prepares project and timekeeping reports for distribution to Management 
  • Analyzes and processes complex payroll requests
  • Review, audit and balancing of timecards and payroll related inputs. 
  • Ensures transactions are in compliance with US GAAP and corporate policies.
  • Act as an escalation point for customer issues 
  • Knowledge of child support and wage garnishment orders. 
  • Maintain SOX compliant processes and documentation.

Education Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent education and experience 

Experience Qualifications

  • Typically 5+ years experience in a payroll related function required 
  • At least 2 years' experience working in Oracle HCM payroll 
  • International payroll experience a plus

Skills and Abilities

 

  • Demonstrable knowledge of  US and Canada payroll compliance, state and federal regulations 
  • Possess exceptional verbal and written communication acumen and expresses thoughts in an organized, concise manner 
  • Ability to manage sensitive information & maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism 
  • Exercise sound judgment, and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently to regularly resolve inquiries/issues 
  • Actively listen to the issues of others in a manner that elicits cooperation and support 
  • Customer service mindset with sense of urgency to task completion 
  • A demonstrated commitment to high professional ethical standards and a diverse workplace 
  • Ability to adapt to a fast paced continually changing business and work environment while managing multiple priorities 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite 
  • Commit to continuous learning to further professional development

The salary range for this role is $70,000 to $115,440. The candidate's final salary offer will be based on the candidate's skills, education, work location and experience. 

A candidate's compensation may also include bonuses consistent with TriNet's corporate bonus plan.
