A Brief Overview
The Senior Payroll Analyst is responsible for the accurate and proficient preparation and processing of full-cycle, complex multistate and Canada payroll and processes throughout various time zones ensuring federal and state compliance using Oracle HCM.
What you will do
- Executes full-cycle payroll processing for company personnel, including new hires, status changes, and terminations.
- Processes payroll-related tasks/requests, including supplemental pay requests, salary transfers, bonuses, 401K transfers, terminations of worksite employees, etc.
- Prepares project and timekeeping reports for distribution to Management
- Analyzes and processes complex payroll requests
- Review, audit and balancing of timecards and payroll related inputs.
- Ensures transactions are in compliance with US GAAP and corporate policies.
- Act as an escalation point for customer issues
- Knowledge of child support and wage garnishment orders.
- Maintain SOX compliant processes and documentation.
Education Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent education and experience
Experience Qualifications
- Typically 5+ years experience in a payroll related function required
- At least 2 years' experience working in Oracle HCM payroll
- International payroll experience a plus
Skills and Abilities
- Demonstrable knowledge of US and Canada payroll compliance, state and federal regulations
- Possess exceptional verbal and written communication acumen and expresses thoughts in an organized, concise manner
- Ability to manage sensitive information & maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism
- Exercise sound judgment, and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently to regularly resolve inquiries/issues
- Actively listen to the issues of others in a manner that elicits cooperation and support
- Customer service mindset with sense of urgency to task completion
- A demonstrated commitment to high professional ethical standards and a diverse workplace
- Ability to adapt to a fast paced continually changing business and work environment while managing multiple priorities
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

The salary range for this role is $70,000 to $115,440. The candidate's final salary offer will be based on the candidate's skills, education, work location and experience.
A candidate's compensation may also include bonuses consistent with TriNet's corporate bonus plan.
