About the Role
Weee! Is seeking a talented Senior Corporate Counsel to join its collaborative legal team. Reporting to the Vice President of Legal and working closely with various stakeholders. The role is an in-person role and is located at Weee!'s corporate headquarters in Fremont, CA.
Responsibilities
- Draft and negotiate commercial agreements including analyzing and appropriately mitigating contractual risk against business needs, spotting and resolving issues, and providing expert counsel and advice to internal stakeholders on deal structure, strategy, and commercial and legal implications of proposed transactions.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and the legal team to ensure that contractual terms align with business objectives and risk tolerance.
- Independently provide strategic and practical legal advice to business stakeholders across the organization
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of document templates and internal resource documents
- Deliver training and guidance to employees on legal issues, best practices, and company policies
- Support general business operations by responding to requests for assistance as needed including providing legal guidance on a diverse range of legal matters (including but not limited to privacy regulations, marketing and advertising, product and technology, regulatory matter, employment law related matters)
- Support litigation functions as requested
- Manage outside counsel as appropriate
- Complete ad hoc projects as requested and needed
Qualifications:
- 5+ yearsof relevant legal experience required
- Law degree (JD) from an accredited law school and an active member of a state bar required
- Critical thinker that collaborates to remove barriers and deliver practical results aligning with business needs. Must be innovative, proactive, resourceful, and execution-oriented with exceptional judgment to provide sound legal advice and drafting reflecting a clear understanding of business objectives and balancing risk with business priorities.
- Self-motivated, confident, and an independent attorney. Must be willing and able to adapt to varying situations to support and drive results.
- Executive presence with strong legal and commercial sophistication.
- Excellent organization and time management skills with ability to prioritize and manage competing, concurrent demands.
- Demonstrated ability to take initiative and ownership with focus on continuous improvement
- Proven ability to partner with cross-functional teams, including sales, sales operation, legal, HR, payroll, accounting and finance

Compensation Range
- The US base salary range for this full-time position is $150,000 - $180,000
- This role may be eligible to discretionary bonus, incentives and benefits
- Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location
