- BA from an accredited university.
- 4+ years of experience in a copywriting, editing, and/or content-related role, preferably within the online retail sphere.
- Proven experience writing concise, quippy, and engaging copy—specialties in the promotional and UX copy are a plus, but not required.
- Proven ability to write copy for a variety of platforms and customer touchpoints.
- A proactive, can-do attitude.
- Knowledge and experience with SEO.
- Proven attention to detail and deadlines.

Shopbop is looking for a creative, innovative, and organized Senior Copywriter to craft compelling, inspiring copy for homepage, email, social, app & additional marketing assets. The Senior Copywriter will collaborate with the Shopbop brand marketing team, CRM team, fashion office, and creative teams to conceive and execute complex campaigns & content across multiple platforms.
Responsibilities:
- Write copy for website collateral and customer-facing communications, including homepage stories, global & internal banners, designer bio mastheads, site navigation, UX copy, and promotions with minimal top editing.
- Nimbly, expertly and quickly pivot tone of voice depending on the project, whether it’s an authoritative Tier 1 editorial campaign or compelling promotional copy.
- Execute compelling long-form content that organically incorporates SEO terms and flows naturally.
- A high level of project ownership and self-editing skills.
- Work with the Shopbop editors, writers, marketing & creative partners to develop and execute narrative direction for editorial features and various marketing initiatives.
- Maintain strong up-to-date knowledge of the competitive fashion, style & online retail landscape.
- Maintain and develop Shopbop brand voice by creating authoritative and accessible copy.
