WW's Global Brand Marketing team is responsible for setting the strategic vision for the brand and bringing it to life across all cultural touch points including social media, influencer marketing, events, experiential activations, and more. What you’ll do
The Brand Marketing team is looking for a skilled Senior Copywriter who can translate complex science into cross-channel content that’s digestible and relatable. Reporting to the Senior Content Manager, you’ll craft short and long-form copy that moves consumers and cements WeightWatchers status as not only a leader in weight loss, but a leader in health.
The ideal candidate is a self-starter who can consistently produce clean copy, prioritize multiple projects, think critically, collaborate across teams, and shift your tone for a variety of channels. A true copy chameleon, you can write a 2,000-word reported essay with the appropriate science citations and craft pithy one-liners about fiber.
Pitch and execute top-of-funnel content, including articles, landing pages, and emails, in support of the brand’s health ventures, connecting weight loss and well-being.
Assign, edit, and/or write weight-loss and health articles that drive organic traffic, deliver credible, relatable, and useful information, and reflect the brand’s modern ethos.
Help implement broader SEO strategy, including content updates, to increase brand awareness and relevance, and to recruit new audiences.
Collaborate with science and legal teams to rigorously vet content.
Contribute to cross-functional brainstorms for brand and marketing campaigns.
Work with the global integrated marketing team to build and maintain message houses and FAQs.
Who you are
Bachelor’s degree in communications, English, marketing, or a related field preferred
5-7 years of experience concepting and writing in the health and wellness space for established brands
Strong portfolio of writing samples
Knack for crafting voicey, thoughtful, longform stories that are science-based
Proven ability to disseminate accurate, actionable information and make service content feel fresh and relevant
Deep understanding of the cultural zeitgeist, and able to find unique angles and approaches that connect it to the WeightWatchers brand
Excellent copy-editing skills
Experience making SEO content unique
Passion for brand storytelling
Excellent personal organization skills with extraordinary attention to detail
Self-motivated with strong time management skills to organize, plan, and execute simultaneous projects
Empathy for people living with chronic health conditions, and interest in making them feel seen and heard
Pay may vary depending on, but not limited to: skills, experience, and location. Pay - $85,000-$95,000
