The Role
We are seeking a consultant engineer and commercial lead with deep knowledge of Wind Turbine Blade Technology to support the growth of our blade products and services in the US market. A recognised technical expert, you will engage with customers and colleagues to deliver excellent professional advice on performance and blade reliability problems to Wind Turbine power producers. Prior experience at a Wind Turbine OEM, blade OEM, or leading power producer/consulting firm in the renewables sector will be key to success in this role.

Key Responsibilities
Provide leadership in the commercial activities, planning business expansion with the management team and supporting the sales team and industry partners
Scope and specify consultancy projects, working closely with the commercial team and engineering managers.
Deliver technical consultancy in the areas of blade failure analysis, performance upgrade assessments, repair reviews etc.
Utilize engineering team resources to support larger projects and sign off work.
Act as internal subject matter expert on Blade Technology.
Contribute to marketing activities such as conference presentations and webinars, prepare and deliver high-quality presentations, support digital
Person Specification
5+ years' experience in technical roles relating to Wind Turbine Blade Technology.
Specialist knowledge in one or more of - composite structure design/manufacture; quality assurance; blade repair techniques; turbine power performance enhancement related to Blade Technology; remote/drone-based blade inspection; blade analytics (performance, condition monitoring).
Knowledge of latest predictive maintenance issues relating to Wind Turbine Blades.
Strong communication and presentation skills - ability to prepare and deliver high quality reports and presentations
Confident project manager, able to work effectively under pressure, and experienced in client/customer management.
Ability to work on-site in Wind Turbines; personal fitness to climb and stand for 8 hours a day; ability to lift to 40 lbs.
Works effectively to deadlines with minimum supervision; strong problem-solving skills; collaborates well with colleagues regionally and globally.
