- Research, analyze, and administer healthcare plans, recognition, and wellness programs.
- Administer participation in benchmark surveys to align programs appropriately to recruit and retain employees.
- Creates and presents communication materials, such as presentations and information packages, to keep employees updated on plan changes and amendments.
- Assist with the open enrollment process.
- Monitors plan usage and provides regular reporting and meaningful insights into claims management, utilization experience, cost management, vendor performance and plan member interactions. Reviews the mix of benefits, assesses their effectiveness.
- Conduct job evaluations.
- Support compensation planning process by assisting with salary planning cycles.
- Conduct regular market analysis and research to ensure the company’s compensation and benefits programs are competitive and aligned with industry standards.
- Partner with internal stakeholders to understand needs related to Total Rewards and review salary structures, incentive programs, and other applicable compensation related topics.
- Support the strategy, design, and delivery of communications for all total rewards programs.
- Responds to inquiries, offers consultation and education to plan members, onboards new hires, as needed, and provides guidance and interpretation of benefits/compensations programs, policies and plans.
- Perform quality checks of benefits-related data.
- Assist with 401(k) funding and compliance including the annual audits and 5500s.
- Assist with IRS and DOL compliance reporting for 401(k) and health & welfare plans.
- Associate or bachelor’s degree
- 10+ years of related experience of employee benefits and compensation administration experience at a mid-large organization with diverse employee populations
- An understanding of benefits plans, and compliance requirements (FMLA, ACA, HIPAA, federal and state laws)
- Ability to assess data and make recommendations.
- Highly numerical and analytical, with a passion for data
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to maintain professional and approachable demeanor to effectively handle sensitive employee inquiries and maintain great employee rapport.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Excel, Word, and Power Point
- Exceptional integrity, accountability, and the ability to always maintain confidentiality.
- Must be detail-oriented, flexible, self-motivated with strong organizational skills.
- Ability to thrive in a demanding, change-oriented, fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work in a rapidly evolving, fast paced culture and meet time-critical deadlines.
