Senior Compensation Analyst- Parsippany, NJ
As Senior Compensation Analyst, you will run our compensation programs to attract and retain top talent across our business and will serve as an internal compensation consultant. The Senior Compensation Analyst will help ensure that our compensation programs remain competitive and align with our business strategies, by providing vital data and insight to the people team and business leaders across Wallinius Wilhelmsen Americas and subsidiary/affiliated companies.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Be the market data expert and own all aspects of compensation data and analysis throughout the full employee life cycle including data reporting, updates and audits.
- Conduct and manage compensation benchmarking and survey participation in conjunction with compensation leadership to support competitive analysis of compensation programs within the industry.
- Support HR local team on compensation related issues and work closely with Talent Acquisition in the offer process.
- Partner with Compensation leadership to review existing processes and tools to ensure continuous improvement.
- Support various compensation projects from planning and implementation to execution.
- Partner with internal teams and external consultants to continuously improve processes and to develop a deep understanding of job responsibilities for evaluation of pay level, external market benchmarks and internal equity to influence pay decisions on offers, pay adjustments and promotions. Streamline the job evaluation process and ensure a consistent approach.
- Support the compensation review as well as annual merit review process
- Develop and iterate data analytics and ad hoc reporting on compensation data.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
- Minimum 3 years prior compensation experience in large complex organizations
- Working knowledge and experience of Workday required
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
- Detail-oriented with a core focus on ensuring data integrity and accuracy
- Adaptable to the changing needs of a fast moving, complex organization
- Solid understanding of compensation technology and tools, including advanced Excel skills required
- Systems and analytical thinker who has the ability to see how organizational systems interact and influence each other, and how systems create and contribute to specific issues and strengths
- Vigilant in maintaining confidentiality and discretion at all times
- Ability to maintain a sense of urgency and execute quickly and efficiently
- Demonstrated ability to assess and resolve issues, while translating complex information to concise and understandable terms, with minimal direction
- Demonstrated organizational and project management skills
- Team player who is approachable and supportive; comfortable doing the analytical work required but also able to think strategically
- Self-starter mentality who is comfortable working in an ambiguous, fast-paced, start-up environment
