The Aura Brand team is seeking a highly motivated Senior Community Manager to build and maintain a first-of-its-kind digital community – a place where the brand can engage with & provide support for families raising the first truly connected generation.

The ideal candidate will be instrumental in bringing this platform to life over the next few months. You will dive into our audience to understand how they'll best engage with the community & will build a best-in-class site map and content strategy accordingly. You'll liaise with our many expert external partners to ensure credibility in what we build, and you'll work cross-functionally within Aura to ensure a timely launch.

We are looking for someone with specific expertise in building, growing, and maintaining online communities that drive Brand love and generate leads.

Day to Day:

  • Building the online community:

    • On day one, you will immerse yourself in the vision that has been set forth for the online community to date.

    • You'll draw from past experiences to put your own thumbprint on it, and then you'll work to bring it to life with our development and design teams.

    • You'll ensure that any decisions made by the design or development team set the community up for long term growth.

    • You'll meet with key stakeholders to establish a positioning for the online community within the Aura online ecosystem & ensure that it serves the needs of the marketing funnel.

  • Growing the online community….

    • You'll identify (and collaborate) with the right external partners to make this community a space where users can find the right content & engage in safe conversations.

      • You'll manage multiple partners to curate content for the community and,

      • You'll manage multiple partners to ensure timely response of conversation within the community.

    • You'll have a clear point of view on how discussion within the community should be moderated, and will action that.

  • Maintaining the online community…

    • You'll collaborate cross functionally to brainstorm ways to drive traffic to the community, beyond the initial launch.

    • You'll demonstrate a vision for how the community should grow and evolve over time. You'll set program goals and track progress against them. What does success look like in year one? Year two?

What you bring to the table:

  • Proven track record in building online communities for brands. Within the technology or wellness space a plus.

  • Experience collaborating cross functionally within an organization & managing multiple projects at once.

  • Familiarity with Webflow or Wordpress; Experience working with web development teams

  • Experience managing discussion forums and community moderation.

  • Experience and willingness working in a fast-paced environment and working directly with / making recommendations to senior level executives

  • Experience driving positive change and impact-driven programs

  • Knowledge and/or interest in technology's impact on children and teens' offline lives

Pay range for this position is $100,000 - $138,000 but may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience and location.
