The Sr. Communications Specialist will drive communication strategy initiatives and support the needs of multiple business partners throughout Field Operations. The Sr. Communications Specialist develops long- and short-term communications strategies and brings big ideas to life by collaborating with internal partners. They will be collaborative, passionate, high energy, organized, articulate, and able to distill clear messages to promote the culture and mission of Field Operations.
This position reports to the Field Operations Senior Manager, Communications.

This position reports to the Field Operations Senior Manager, Communications.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Diagnose communication needs within the Field Operations organization.
- Manage a variety of clients across Field Operations, consulting on projects and providing strategic direction and communication execution.
- Lead all Field Operations video initiatives and execute on strategic video plans which include scripting, filming, editing, and distribution.
- Help build the overall Field Operations Culture by building relationships with incredible partners and field employees.
- Work directly with senior leadership and provide strategic input about communication direction.
- Assist with planning and execution of all internal events including Leadership Meetings, Town Halls, Field visits and other events.
- Plans and creates content for all internal communication vehicles, including but not limited to internal intranet and other digital tools, video, communication slides, podcasts, Email campaigns and Microsoft Teams.
- Maintain awareness of company, industry and overall business issues, goals, trends, and challenges and make recommendations based on observations.
- Take ownership of your work, think outside of the box and challenge the status quo.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
- 5+ years of demonstrated experience in the communications field, preferably in Internal Communications, Public Relations, or Media Relations.
- Degree in Communication, Journalism, Public Relations or a closely related major.
- Demonstrated expertise producing high-quality videos with proven knowledge of video technology and tools (camera equipment, editing software, web and mobile applications). Photography skills a plus.
- Strong planning and project management skills.
- Demonstrated proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Premier and Canva.
- Comfortable on a variety of social platforms, including Instagram, Tik Tok and Facebook.
- Proficient in web-based platforms such as WordPress, SharePoint and a basic knowledge of html.
- Expert in Apple Keynote and Microsoft PowerPoint.
- Proven self-starter and positive go-getter, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work independently as well as within a team environment, and with all levels of management.
- Knowledge of Associated Press Style guidelines.
- Excellent verbal communication skills.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Proven ability to handle confidential information.
- Comfortable with rapid change and short deadlines.
