- Calibrate, repair, and maintain all torque tool equipment.
- Perform preventive maintenance on the equipment.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose problems with tool systems.
- Document calibration results and maintenance activities.
- Perform data analysis to identify trends in calibration results.
- Responsible for specification for proper tool applications.
- Responsible for Cpk and Cmk for critical characteristics.
- Working with engineering on problem-solving as it pertains to assembly and torque.
- Responsible for process torque improvement.
- Responsible for monthly quality reports (Cpk/Cmk) as management requires.
- Ensure all TGH responsible areas are 5S maintained.
The successful candidate has a technical background, either academic or experience-based. It is preferred that this person have a background in precision metrology; however, successful candidates may also have a background in electronics, medical device manufacturing, food, and drug manufacturing, or other related fields where accuracy and precision are daily requirements.
