The Senior Brand Copywriter will drive content initiatives across multiple platforms and formats to increase interest, engagement, sales, retention and positive customer experiences.
Our ideal candidate is fluent across the marketing copy and content spectrum - equally comfortable defining brand voice and messaging as in conversion writing to drive new customer acquisition and expansion of existing accounts. This role will report to the Director, Brand Experience and will be the lead brand writer at Redis on the growing Brand Marketing team.
What you'll do:
- Partner in the development of our verbal identity, including brand voice and messaging, as part of the overall evolution of the Redis brand.
- Support in the internal socialization and training of the new verbal identity, designing a process and creating the governance to ensure the cohesive execution of our verbal identity across all channels against our personas, including online, social, email, mobile, video, print, and experiential.
- Identify and leverage industry and macro trends to inform and position story narratives and content themes that elevate the company's brand as an industry leader.
- Leverage internal product/operational data and external market data to develop research ideas that support and amplify the company's storytelling.
- Develop multi-layered content strategies that support all marketing campaigns and supervise internal and external contributors throughout the content lifecycle.
- Draft, edit and maintain appropriate assets.
- Analyze content initiatives for performance against key metrics and continually identify opportunities for optimization, repackaging, republishing and retargeting through structured testing.
What will you need to have?
- 5+ years of experience as a multi-channel brand communications lead at a top brand or agency.
- Experience with creating compelling messages and storylines for IT audiences, including developers, architects and CIO/CTO.
- Proficiency in Figma and Adobe CC.
- Comfortable with both big picture strategic ideation and executional creative writing.
- Successful track record of growing traffic, optimizing conversions and increasing customer/user engagement in digital and social channels.
- Exceptional communication, writing, and editing skills.
- Ability to make great decisions balancing data and intuition.
- Comfortable working within tight schedules and ever-changing priorities.
- A desire to be part of building something - and all the change that comes along with it.
Extra great if you have:
- Experience with NoSQL databases (especially Redis), infrastructure software, SaaS offerings
- Experience in product and/or brand naming

The estimated gross base annual salary range for this role is $81,339 – $190,667 per year in New York, California, Washington, Colorado, and Rhode Island. Actual compensation may vary and is dependent on various factors, including a candidate's work location, qualifications, experience, and competencies. Base annual salary is one component of Redis' total compensation and competitive benefits package, which may include 401(k), unlimited time off, learning and development opportunities, and comprehensive health and wellness benefits. This role may include discretionary bonuses, stock options, commuter benefits based on location, or a commission plan. Salary history is not used in compensation package decisions. Redis utilizes market pay data to determine compensation, so posted compensation ranges are subject to change as new market data becomes available.
