Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing a wide range of accounting duties, including payment processing, maintaining financial records, and preparing reports to support decision-making processes. This role requires a deep understanding of accounting principles, proficiency in QuickBooks, and the ability to handle multiple priorities in a dynamic business environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Payment Processing: Oversee the processing of incoming and outgoing payments, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and timely completion.
- Archiving: Maintain organized financial records and archives in compliance with legal and company policies.
- QuickBooks Management: Utilize QuickBooks for various accounting tasks, including but not limited to data entry, reconciling accounts, and generating financial statements.
- Budgeting: Assist in the development and management of the company’s budget, working closely with department heads to ensure alignment with financial goals.
- Profit and Loss (P&L) Reports: Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual P&L reports, analyzing variances and providing insights on financial performance.
- Financial Reporting: Generate comprehensive financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, to inform strategic decision-making.
- Accounts Receivable/Payable: Manage accounts receivable and payable, including invoice processing, collections, and payments, to ensure healthy cash flow.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A CPA designation is preferred.
- A minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a senior accounting role.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and other accounting software.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and other relevant accounting principles.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present financial information clearly.

Pay: $75,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
