The ideal candidate will possess the ability to coordinate and oversee the hotel's beverage operation, including high-volume bars/lounges, while ensuring profitability and maintaining superior product and service levels.
WHAT WILL YOU DO?
- Oversee and lead operational functions in alignment with departmental strategy and company vision.
- Manage guest service delivery, adhering to core service standards and brand attributes.
- Contribute to research, development, and implementation of new products, services, and technology to maintain competitiveness and anticipate customer needs.
- Maintain cost controls and fulfill reporting requirements, including budget adherence and Profit & Loss statements.
- Foster employee motivation, feedback, and participation in decision-making processes.
- Provide coaching and feedback to develop team members' skills and abilities.
- Review ratings on social media platforms and collaborate with employees and management to enhance positive ratings.
- Conduct meetings with employees to ensure adherence to policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with security to implement safety measures and train staff on maintaining a secure environment.
- Direct human resources responsibilities, including creating a positive work environment, hiring, training, and compliance with policies and legal requirements.
- Maintain relationships with unions and adhere to company policies and agreements.
- Resolve escalated customer and vendor issues, providing appropriate service-related compensations.
- Manage scheduling, staffing, and provide strategic direction for entertainment offerings.
- Demonstrate ability to manage multiple tasks in a high-paced and stressful environment while maintaining composure.
WHAT WILL YOU NEED?
- Either a bachelor degree or equivalent experience
- 2+ years of prior relevant experience
