Overview As we continue to build our team in support of our vision to be the world’s best and most trusted mobility company, the Corporate Benefits Department has an exciting opportunity for a Benefits Communication Specialist Senior to join the team! ABOUT THE ROLEThe Benefits Communications Specialist Senior develops, writes, and manages the production and distribution processes for internal and external benefits-related materials and communications across a variety of platforms.  This position is also responsible for the review and maintenance of content on the Company's benefits and enrollment website, and a variety of other internal projects in support of the Corporate Employee Benefits department. Responsibilities We are hiring now for immediate openings.  Responsibilities include:Acquire and maintain a deep understanding of the Company’s benefit plans and collaborate with Corporate Employee Benefits Team to identify content to promote the Company’s benefit plans and online resources to a diverse workforceDevelop and create internal and external communication assets from inception to distribution, including designing, researching, writing, editing, proofing, and managing production, for a variety of mediums and platformsEfficiently and effectively execute pertinent and timely communicationsRequest, facilitate and analyze contract proposals and renewals from vendorsAnalyze effectiveness of Benefits Communication campaigns; recommend new communication opportunities and implement updated strategies to improve communications impact. Identify gaps in Benefits Communications and make recommendations for new contentOversee and manage annual review, revision, and production of benefit plan materials, including but not limited to summary plan descriptions, enrollment materials and standard form lettersReview and maintain content on the Company’s benefits and enrollment website(s); serve as technical advisor; troubleshoot with internal IT partners and external vendorsCreate and maintain timelines and calendars to plot and track short-term and long-term communication projects and goals, document compliance and completion and share as a resourceWork with Corporate Employee Benefits Team to ensure benefit materials and communications are consistent with the standards and policies in the Company’s Employee Handbook and applicable lawBuild and maintain positive, professional relationships with key internal and external partners/vendorsStay informed of industry best practices/new mediums of communication and apply them to communication projectsManage other projects as assigned, including creation of project plans, budgets, team communications, timeline management, vendor management, and project documentationEqual Opportunity Employer/Disability/Veterans Qualifications Minimum:Bachelor’s Degree in Communication, Marketing, Journalism, or a closely related fieldMust have 5+ years’ experience in communication or project management for a large corporationMust be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the futurePreferred:1 year minimum experience in writing employee benefit plan related communications/materialsExperience with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) or similar design softwareAdditional Skills & Abilities:Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills; attention to detailCreative and strategic thinker; problem-solverAbility to work independently with minimal supervision and also as part of a team; strong interpersonal skillsHighly organized and strong project management skills, with the ability to plan, prioritize competing demands and projects, execute, and multitask to meet deadlinesCompetency Based: ExecutingWorking With a TeamPlanning and OrganizingDetail-OrientedProblem SolvingCommunication
