Job Description:
Role: Senior Audit Associate/Manager
Location: Remote
Job Type: Fulltime/Permanent
The Senior Audit Associate/Manager will work on audits, reviews, compilations, and accounting procedures within a variety of industries and companies and be directly involved in the tax return preparation for these companies. Successful candidates will be entrepreneurial, smart, and highly energized, with excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Responsibilities include:
· Work closely with clients to understand their business and industry, company structure, accounting procedures, and business goals
· Ability to manage multiple engagements and internal firm responsibilities
· Dependent upon experience level, the candidate would be responsible for planning engagement, supervising staff, reviewing workpapers, preparation of financial statements and other client reports, and ensuring timely completion of the engagement
· Collaborate on engagement teams to conduct audits, reviews, and compilations
· Direct communication with client management as applicable
· Perform tests of internal control systems and assess risks
· Identify and communicate any accounting or other matters to managers and shareholders; assist in the resolution of such matters through research and analysis if necessary
· Prepare and/or review of corporate or organization tax returns
· Provide exceptional client service
· Contribute to the firm through non-client related matters such as business development and training
Qualifications include:
· Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting
· 3-7 years of experience in public accounting
· CPA preferred or actively in process of CPA examination
· Manufacturing, wholesale, service, retail, and non-profit industry experience preferred
· Strong teamwork, communication, and analytical skills
· Travel to client locations as required
· Proficiency in MS Office applications
· Experience with ProSystem Fx products (Engagement, ProFx Tax, Fixed Assets)

Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $125,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
