This is your chance to be a part of an in-house Technology team that's creating consumer-facing, cutting-edge technologies revolutionizing the hospitality industry around the world! As a Senior Associate Quality Engineeryou will bring your technical skills to a hospitality company with an award-winning culture. On the Quality Engineering team reporting to the Senior Manager, Quality Engineering, you will support projects assuring the quality of Hilton's web, mobile, and/or Team Member platforms including ensuring Web and Mobile applications are ADA compliant.

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

Your role is important and below are some of the fundamental job duties that make your work unique.

What your day-to-day will be like:

  • Design and write web and mobile web manual scripts that run tests on new and/or existing software/apps.
  • Install applications and databases relevant to automation.
  • Create, maintain, execute, and update the product testing strategy including running manual tests and advising on the automation framework.
  • Test products in all phases of its life cycle and identify bugs and quality issues.
  • Understand and implement automation test strategy and identify opportunities for automation within development processes.

How you will collaborate with others:

  • Collaborate with engineers to achieve expected quality levels in products.
  • Collaborate with other teams to understand how automation can improve workflow.
  • Influence the inclusion of testability during the design and development phases.

What projects you will take ownership of:

  • Responsible for Accessibility (A11Y) testing on cross-functional channels.
  • Ensure compliance of quality processes and standards to include reporting.

WHY YOU'LL BE A GREAT FIT

You have these minimum qualifications:

  • Three (3) years of professional experience in Technology or a related field
  • Experience in testing applications with A11Y tools like AXE and JAWS
  • Capacity to learn new technologies and expand skills
  • Ability to mentor Junior testers
  • 10% travel may be required

It would be useful if you have:

  • Bachelor's Degree, or Associate's Degree plus 6 years of Technology related experience, or High School Degree/GED plus 12 years of Technology related experience 
  • Five (5) years of professional experience in Technology or a related field
