About the Role
The Senior Associate/ Compliance Manager will be an integral member of the EB5AN Compliance Team, ensuring Regional Center compliance with USCIS requirements, EB-5 Regulations and U.S. Federal and State Laws.
What does the day to day look like?
Project onboarding and tracking:
- Review and approval of EB-5 offering documents, including business plan, economic study, private placement memorandum, and legal agreements.
- Assist and/or lead Compliance Onboarding meetings with new clients.
- Obtain and track all relevant agreements and supporting documents.
Investor onboarding and tracking: Tracking new investors in each sponsored project, obtaining, reviewing, and organizing investor documentation.
Billing: Calculating, billing, and tracking upfront affiliation fees, annual per-investor fees and annual USCIS filing and other fees.
Quarterly and Annual Reporting:
- Planning, designing, implementing, tracking, and compiling internal and USCIS reporting packages.
- Providing advice and guidance and acting in instances of non-compliance.
Ongoing Compliance:
- Monitoring the promotion of EB-5 offerings, and ensuring compliance and tracking USCIS registration by promoters of EB-5 offerings
- Monitoring, tracking, and recording redeployment of investor capital, correct flow of funds and project expenditure, etc.
- Answering client queries and providing guidance with respect to EB-5 Regulations.
- Managing voluntary and one-way termination of affiliation agreements.
Laws and Regulations:
- Keeping abreast with changes to EB-5 Regulations and applicable U.S. Federal and State laws.
- Updating internal and external communication, documentation, quarterly and annual reporting checklists, and legal agreements with regulatory changes.
- Taking action in instances of non-compliance.

Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years relevant experience.
- EB-5 industry experience, specifically with respect to Regional Center Compliance, EB-5 Regulations and relevant U.S. Federal and State Laws; OR
- Experience in one or more of the following areas: (i) Regulatory Compliance; (ii) Legal Compliance; or (iii) Broker-Dealer Compliance within a law, financial services, or advisory firm within a highly regulated environment.
Qualifications:
A bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college is desired, however, highly experienced candidates without a degree will be considered.

- This is a full-time (40 to 45 hours per week) position.
- The work hours are flexible, but you must be available for meetings during U.S. business hours (Eastern Time, between 08:00 and 11:00).
