Senior Construction Inspector - Seasonal

Lumos & Associates is looking for an experienced Senior Construction Inspectorto join the team. The Senior Construction Inspector will independently perform observation and inspection on public works construction projects to ensure compliance with the project plans and specifications. This is a seasonal position that will work from April - November.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete inspections and field testing as required by the plans and specifications.
• Complete required field inspections/testing reports daily.
• Interpret plans and specifications and work independently.
• Perform work in a safe manner. Report repairs or safety concerns to management.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Minimum 8 years of experience, or a combination of education and experience and/or desired certificates.
• Required Certificates:
  • NAQTC – Sampling/Density
  • ACI – Field Technician 1
  • OSHA – 10
  • Nuke Gauge Operator
• Preferred Certificates:
  • ATSSA – Traffic Control Supervisor
  • ICC – Reinforced Concrete Inspector
• Ability to work hours necessary (including overtime) to complete work within required time frames with regard to deadlines.
• Computer proficient with knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word/Excel/Outlook).
• Valid drivers license and driving record with 3 or less demerit points.
